Smooth Bromegrass is a perennial cool season forage grass that is used extensively in nothern areas for early season pasture. It has a very rhizomatus root system that can become sod-bound without proper management.
Smooth Bromegrass is considered aggressive, as it tends to crowd out other species over time. It should not be used with warm season grasses or wildflowers. Plant in the spring or fall.
