About Yellow Blossom Sweet Clover

This biennial clover is most noted for its nitrogen fixing ability and efficiency as a soil builder. It does not grow well in soils that are poorly drained. In general it is not used as forage for livestock as it is coarse and unpalatable. When plowed under at maturity, this clover can add 80-100 lbs. of nitrogen/acre plus organic matter.  Beneficial to bees and other pollinators.  Can be aggressive.
