About Black Samson

Also referred to as Narrow Leaf Purple Coneflower, this native flower's appearance is similar to Purple Coneflower. The petals are light purple to pink and are shorter and wider than those of Pale Purple Coneflower. Black Samson is adapted to the northwestern Great Plains in lighter soils and dry climates. This perennial flower blooms mid-summer. One packet contains 6 grams.
