Boneset
Eupatorium perfoliatum
Pollinator Attractant
About Boneset
Boneset, a native perennial, grows 2'-4' feet tall with bunches of small, round flower heads. The stems and leaves have a fuzzy appearance because they are covered in white hairs. It grows best in wet conditions with rich soil, preferring full or partial sun.
Panicles of white flowers with a pleasant floral smell bloom at the top of this wildflower between July and September. Many insect pollinators visit this flower as well as a few birds who enjoy the seeds.
